Socorro Angel Gomez (Suki) of Blanco, Texas pass away unexpectedly May 6, 2023, at the Methodist Hospital in Fredericksburg, Texas. She was born June 27, 1957, in El Paso, Texas to Alberto Angel and Emilia Fedrico.

Suki moved to Blanco, Texas in 1999 where she became a CNA for 23 years. She worked at Live Oak Medical Center, LBJ Medical Center and the Henry House where she retired. She loved her work and especially her residents and she loved what she did. Everyone loved her that she met. She had the biggest heart, the heart of "GOLD".

Suki was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by 4 sisters and 4 brothers, her four kids Erica Avila, husband Chilo Avila and son Julio Avila; Rafael Gomez, Jr., wife Ashley Gomez and daughters Bianca Gomez, Sierra Gomez, Hayv'n Gomez and son Antiny Gomez; Michael Gomez and wife Irene Gomez; Vanessa Smith, husband Jerry Smith, Jr. and daughter Jonessa Carruth and 2 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Blanco, Texas at Crofts-Crow Funeral home from 10 AM to 12 PM. Immediately following the viewing there will be a Celebration of Life for Suki at the Buggy Barn in Blanco, Texas.
