Tanya Faye Marler Watson of Johnson City passed away unexpectedly the morning of May 5, 2026.  Tanya was born April 15, 1976 in Johnson City, TX to Roy D. Marler and Jeanie (Webb) Marler.

A Johnson City native, Tanya was born and raised and attended school in Johnson City.  She enjoyed the outdoors, camping and spending time with friends and family.  She also enjoyed her time working at Becker Vineyards where she also made many close friendships.  Tanya was a friend to many and never met a stranger.

Family was one of Tanya's most cherished aspects of life especially her two sons.  She is survived by her two beloved sons, Chase Watson (Hannah Lewandowski) and Ryan Watson; her brother, Roy Alan Marler (Belinda Ransleben); her loving parents, Roy and Jeanie Marler; two nieces, Nevaeh and Layla Marler.  Tanya is also survived by many cousins, other loving relatives, host of dear friends and a group of special friends who were just like family.

A memorial service honoring Tanya will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Crofts Crow Funeral Chapel in Johnson City. A private graveside ceremony will follow at the Johnson City Masonic Cemetery.

A celebration of Tanya's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 6th at the Lavender House of Becker Vineyards, 464 Becker Farms Rd., Stonewall, TX.
