Thad Risinger died in his sleep on Saturday, April 9, 2022.  Thad and wife Gwen had returned to Texas 25 years ago after they retired, choosing the Blanco area instead of the Panhandle. Thad is survived by his wife Gwen and 2 sons, John (Donna) and Kirk (Amy), as well as sister Emily (Bill) Wiederstein and 6 grandchildren.

Thad always liked to have cats and dogs so over the years they had several, often at the same time.  He enjoyed volunteering at the Blanco Library for a number of years and doing Sudoku puzzle.  He planned and finished numerous projects around the house.  Burial is April 14 at 10 AM at the Kuebel-Beck cemetery near Blanco.
