Tomas Garcia, Jr., passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 23, 1957 in Hondo, Texas to Tomas Sr. and Francisca (Trinidad) Garcia. He graduated from high school in Blanco, Texas and went to trade school to learn carpentry. Tomas loved anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, bar-b-q's with friends and family and country music. He is preceded in death by his parents, and  eleven brothers and sisters.

Tomas is survived by his son Tomas Garcia, III of Gonzales, a daughter, Nancy Rae Garcia of San Antonio, four brothers, Ignacio Garcia and wife Gregoria of Hondo, Pedro "Pete" Garcia of Blanco, Domingo Garcia and wife Linda of Blanco, Louis Garcia of Blanco and a sister Stella Mancha and husband Pete of Blanco. Four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Twin Sister, Texas.
