Velma Ella Jonas, 89, passed away July 10 in Fredericksburg. She is survived by a son, Nelson Jonas of San Antonio, three daughters: Marilyn Bindseil and Barbara Crawford of Austin, Janet Hobrecht, San Antonio; three brothers: Clarence Rust, Canyon Lake, Arthur Rust, Spring Branch and Gus Rust, Jr, Lake McQueeney; two sisters: Valeska Kruckemeyer and Viola Stollewerk, Spring Branch; ten grandchildren: Christa Crawford Quinn, Daryn Crawford, Erika Crawford Toner, Tammy, Lori and Kyle Bindseil, Amber Hobrecht, Nicole Jones, Jason and Michael Jonas; and 19 greatgrandchildren.Visitation is Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Crofts Funeral Home, Blanco. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 12 at Crofts Funeral Home, Blanco, with burial to follow in the Blanco Cemetery. Pastor Don Ofsdahl will officiate at the services. Memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Blanco.
