Vera Ellen Liesmann, 88, of Johnson City passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 in Johnson City. Vera was born in Willow City, TX to Fred and Birdie Robbins Waugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years, Jerome J. Liesmann; and two brothers, Roy and Jay Waugh. Vera is survived by four children, Don Earl Liesmann and wife Linda, Debbie Jo Hickson and husband Sam, Pete Liesmann and wife Debbie Kay, and Mark Liesmann; ten grandchildren, Matt, Andy, Mitchell, Chris, Nick, Brooke, Buddy, Melanie, Darby, and Whitney. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, July, 10, 2015 at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City where funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 11, 2015 with Rev. Ernest Topper officiating. Interment will follow at Miller Creek Cemetery.
