Obituary

Victor Ezell Weirich was born January 9, 1925 in Johnson City, Texas and passed away on February 24, 2006. He was the son of Werra Selma Arlt and Otto Emil Weirich. On June 28, 1963 Victor married Ida Louisa Oliver, who preceded him in death on November 8, 1999. Victor is survived by his son, Ricky and wife Brenda; daughter, Lisa and Matt Bible; sisters Erma Felps, Viola Hall, and Tekla Oehler; brother, Franklin Weirich; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Brothers, Walter, Marvin and Levi Weirich and sisters Olivia Sultemeier, Myrtle Deike and Alwina Wittkohl preceded Victor in death. Victor served in World War II from May 5, 1943 to April 21, 1946. He worked road construction and then sheared sheep and goats with his brother Marvin for more than 30 years. When he wasn't shearing, he did farm and ranch work, carpenter work, cut grass at the cemetery for many years and worked at the Blanco School District for several years. Victor was a resident of Windcrest Nursing Home in Fredericksburg from April 1999 until his death and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Blanco, Texas. Services will be on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 2:00 pm, Trinity Lutheran Church in Blanco, Texas. Arrangements under the direction of Crofts Funeral Home, Blanco, Texas.
