Willard Leroy Baker , 80, of Austin, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at St. David's South Austin Hospital. Willard was born on September 19, 1938, to Velma Marvella Harkins Baker and Willard Oscar Baker in Walla Walla, Washington.

Willard was a retired union carpenter with 58 years of service. He worked helping build various buildings in downtown Austin, including One American Center and the Omni hotel. He was a Master Mason and he was also an Air Force veteran. He attended church at Jubilee Christian Center with his family.

Willard is survived by his wife, Mary Bible Baker of Austin, Texas; daughters, Brenda MacArthur and husband Mike Dreyer of Austin and Michelle Baker Cordell of Austin; sister, Marian Kujawski of Nebraska; 8 granddaughters; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. Willard was preceded in death by his father, Willard Baker; mother, Velma Baker; brother, Kenneth Baker; and aunt, Dorothy Harkins.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019, at the Johnson City Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City, Texas.
