William Wayne Forrester went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2007. He was born on August 9, 1923 and was a graduate of Forestburg High School. Forrester served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was part of the D-Day invasion and followed General Patton across Europe. He moved his family to Odessa, TX in 1947. He spent 20 years working for Ector County Roads & Bridges and retired in 1988. In 2004, Wayne and his wife Neva moved to Henly, TX to be closer to family.
